I believe in the beauty of the unfiltered. In the breath before someone begins to smile. In the light that just falls through a window and isn't staged.

My images don't come into being in a studio. They come into being where life is quietly waiting – at the kitchen table, in the park, at your work, in a hotel room with white curtains. I observe more than I direct. I capture what is already there.

I come from East Belgium – a place between languages, cultures and many perspectives. Perhaps that's exactly where my connection to images was born: as a way of making things visible that don't need many words.

Early on, I was fascinated by the style of analog cameras and the look of 35mm photography. Since my first camera, I have worked with image editing, colors and moods, gradually developing a visual language that is characterized by naturalness, atmosphere and cinematic aesthetics to this day.

Light falling through old windows. Streets without a fixed plan. The feeling of freedom. People with real stories. Depth instead of superficiality. Authenticity. The magic of the everyday. Beauty in the details. Moments that cannot be staged.

I work digitally and analog • I love photographing best when people forget that a camera is there – because that's exactly where the most honest images are created.

Before we photograph, I'd like to get to know you. It's important to me to understand who you are, what moves you, and what story you want to tell. This can happen over a coffee, a phone call, or simply through a few messages.

During the shooting itself, it's not about perfect poses or stiff instructions. I want to create a space where you feel comfortable and can be completely yourself. Together, we'll choose a location that suits you, your personality, or your brand.
